These routes directly connect to the mela area and have transformers located along the roads. Additionally, all dilapidated and crooked poles along these routes will be removed. Overhead power lines will be placed underground. The Chief Engineer, Pramod Kumar Singh, and the Executive Engineer of Mahakumbh, Manoj Gupta, stated that all overhead lines, including those on the Peshawai Marg, will be shifted underground. Old ABC (Aerial Bunch Conductor) cables will be replaced with armored cables, and the capacity of the transformers will be increased. These improvements will benefit local consumers by reducing issues such as line tripping and wire breakage.
