I agree, MMCT-ADI will be first to allow VB, Tejas Exp and Rajdhanis 160kmph, although I believed NZM-KOTA would be the first one as they already do a lot of testing on that route but I learnt that it will be after MMCT-ADI.
Yeah I too highly doubt about HWH-DDU section, honestly I think NDLS-PRYJ section will be first in Delhi Howrah route

So from yesterday's video of newstation interview of RM, it's clear that ADI-MMCT is indeed gonna be the second 160 kph stretch possibly by the end of this year. For the trunk routes, it's unlikely in near future, Delhi abhi dur h. I suspect smoothening of curves is going to be very challenging and so the full trunk route can never be upgraded. Straighter portions might be given the go but maybe not before at least another 5-10 yrs
The work is in progress I have experienced blocks on DL-MMCT section at Bhairongarh where while straightining the curves a 5hr block was taken and on Hwh section in Bhapur a curve was corrected recently.More such minor works are in progress. This is an ongoing work
Yeah from all the replies Mumbai Ahmedabad is definitely going to be 160kmph route soon, hopefully they do allow all Rajdhanis, VBs and Tejas trains 160 kmph speed clearance
