if i book a ticket from CSTM to PUNE in 2S class (boarding at TNA), can i use that ticket to go from ghatkopar to TNA in a local train and then board the train at TNA without buying a local ticket?

thanx for link.. however i was not allowed by tte at CLA, when i showed him my e-ticket from tcr to cstm,i got down at tna and boarded suburban to cla, he said crs ticket is only valid for such travel as they cannot verify the authenticity of e-tickets
going by that argument, ONLY e-ticket is invalid in mumbai subarban trains. if i have a ticket purchased from the counter, such travel would be allowed. is that what you are saying?
thanks. but why should i buy a new ticket from BVI to DDR and also wait in a Q for more than half hour, cross crowded pf. when I have paid 1A fare between ST-BCT. Railways should not infact issue etickets if they cannot verify authencity of ticket and not torture passengers to buy ticket at every point of change..
i agree with amit. but is there any official statement which clarifies this issue?
that's the point. Where is the official documentation on this? if railways cannot verify their own issued ticket then what more is left to say?
