I traveled by this train from Bikaner to Mangalore.. The train left Bikaner at 7:30PM. The pantry car was next to my compartment.. At around 8PM i saw the people from the pantry car having moved to the reserved compartment (it was more or less empty) and generally chatting.. No one came to take order for dinner. I went to the pantry car to inquire. I was told that dinner was over (no food)..
One of the fans was not working.. The TTE said he will look into it. And it continue to not function for 2 days..

we reached Panvel (near Mumbai)There was a problem (Mudslide/rockslide as is common in the monsoon) in one of the tunnels in Konkan railway near Ratnagiri. We reached Ratnagiri, then taken by bus to another station about 40km away where another train was waiting. We got into the same compartment/berth as per our tickets.. The passengers who came by that train (presumably from Trivandrum going to Bangalore) would have been similarly moved by bus to our train for their journey to Bikaner. By the time we reached Mangalore we were delayed by about 17 hours.. We were running right time till we were at Panvel.
I heard that the same kind of thing was happening for the case for the past 7 days.. I wonder why railways did not divert our train via Pune as perhaps other trains were..
