Some tips from my side about when to take videosBetween Roha and Madgaon from your camcorder/mobile phone camera while on board a train (Especially SF):-
BE Ready for a curve between Nagothane and Roha just as u leave Nagothane
BE Ready to capture the RO-RO at Kolad after Roha

BE ready for a video at Diwankahvti enogatic curve!!!!! after Vinhere
BE ready at Sawarda as there are more chances of train Passing at High speed after Kamathe
BE ready at Ukshi as the stn is suitated between 2 tunnels after Sangameshwar.
BE ready at Ratnagiri outer as u finish Karbude Tunnel a curve will occure and outside of Ratnagiri there must be Brake vans after Bhoke
BE ready at Nivsar as u finish a Tunnel an "S" curve will occuer immediately after the Tunnel. After Ratnagiri
BE ready at Nandgaon/Kankavli as it considered as an crossing point of trains.
BE ready at Verna/Suravali as u can see the trucks are getting down there

train was use to run as Vasco Hubli (MG) train and was diverted to (BG) in year 1999 by Rail minister Nitish Kumar and was made to run between Mumbai and Madgaon and named as Mandovi Express. It was use to run on the TT of Jan Shatabdi and in year 2001 it was changed. Loco in charge was WDM 3a of KYN in 1999-2000 and after RSA with Konkan Kanya both were given WDP-4 of KJM shed.
Learn about Ukshi Railway station:-
Ukshi is a silent railway station sutitated between two tunnels. to go on the road from this station we have to walk minimum 1.5 km. The tunnel is also part of Ukshi railway station. A small waterfall is located at the station. You will be able to see it in rainy season.
