platform is the 22911 Indore B.G. (INDB)- Howrah (HWH) Tri-Weekly SHIPRA Superfast Express. Burdwan is the station where lines from 4 different directions meet:
1) Howrah Chord line.
2) Howrah Main line.
3) Lines from Asansol, and Sahibganj loop.
4) Line from Balgona. Earlier it used to be NG.
Giving me company on the trip were railfans Wrik, P.K. Venkatramani and B.G. (Pen-name), and we were on our way to visit CLW (Chittaranjan Locomotive Works) after getting special permission.
