4 coaches i.e. S-2, S-1, General Second Class Coach and Guard’s Brake Van of 12618 Hazrat Nizamuddin-Ernakulam Mangala Express derailed while entering Pen railway station (104 km from CST) on Panvel-Roha section of Mumbai Division at 12.20 hrs on 22.2.2013.
Initial reports indicate that there are no injuries to any passengers. However, as a precautionary measure local doctors have been called to the site. Medical Relief Van and Break Down Train have been sent to the site for relief operations.

Nizamuddin–Ernakulam Mangala
Express train at Pen Railway station
(in between Panvel and Roha
stations) on Friday.
A press release by the Palakkad
division of Southern Railway said
here on Friday that Lokmanyatilak
Terminus – Mangalore Central
Matsyagandha Express scheduled to
leave Lokmanyatilak Terminus at
3.20 p.m. on Friday is rescheduled
to leave at 8.50 p.m.
The Lokmanyatilak Terminus –
Kochuveli Garibrath Express
scheduled to leave Lokmanyatilak
Terminus at 4.55 p.m. on Friday is
rescheduled to leave at 12.20 a.m.
on Saturday. The Porbandar –
Kochuveli Express scheduled to
pass through Panvel at 12.25 p.m.
on Friday was diverted via Panvel,
Pune, Londa and Madgaon.
Also, Lokmanyatilak Terminus –
Thiruvananthapuram Netravati
Express scheduled to leave at 11.40
a.m. on Friday is diverted via
Panvel, Pune, Londa and Madgaon,
the release added.
