can a waitlist person board train--a)in reserve compartment b)in unreserved comparment

जी हां सर -- यदि वेत्तिंग टिकिट है तब भी नियमो के अनुसार आप सामान्य अनारक्षित कोच में अनारक्षित टिकिट लेकर ही यात्रा कर सकते है ---
I think he has to buy a unreserved ticket and board the train.Because, after chart preparation, if the normal ticket is still W/L it automatically has no value and acts as a simple money receipt(in case of PRS Ticket) to get refund and in case of E-Ticket...the above situation doesnot arise at all...because it automatically cancels out.
So after chart preparation..a W/L ticket is simply invalid.Can somebody suggest on this?...Thank you

Nice Point Mr Arijit, then it means that even people who have onboraded with a W/L ticket (Normal ticket not e-ticket) need to be fined by the TTE and pay the fare ein his receipt.
However looks like most of the TTCs/TTEs are ignorant of this fact. I see people with W/L tickets travelling in reserved compartments (even 3AC and 2AC) .. without paying a single paisa and a person with a platform ticket is made to pay a fine and the fare even in an UR compartment ...

please send rule prs wl tkt holder cannot board the train .
passenger board the train and ask tte have any seat for me . if any confirm tkt holder not journey than first priority to given seat to him. generally tte given seat to him who pay more. but tte break the rule
secondly tte only refuse to him i have no seat . please leave my coach. but not fined
