We will be Travelling By Train 2163 on 22/08/2010.
Our Boarding is from Lonavala. We are in Pune which is the next station after Lonavala.
Please clear my doubt, is it necessary for us to board the Train From Lonavala or we can Board the Train from Pune as there is a rule in railways that TC will have to wait for Next Station to pass before he can confirm the Ticket to the next RAC waiting for confirmaiton.
I understand that I could have got the boarding changed before 24 hrs of Train departure but since i did not know about the same I could not get it done.
Please help me in this situation as we are going home for Deepawali and we do not want to miss the train for not boarding from Loanawala. We can travel to Lonavala but in case there is a possibility for me to board from Pune the hassel of travelling to Lonaval can be avoided as it is in night time and Lonavala is unkonn to us.
