Based at Delhi...can not book from lucknow. will be travelling to KNP on 23rd.
I mean to say book your ticket from Lucknow to Jabalpur and then get your boarding point changed to Kanpur. Hardly Rs. 20 difference will be there. and you can book it @ any PRS counter
Did the same but my TKT is from LJN to JBP and selected boarding at CNB, still it shows waiting...same thing happened earlier also. Railways should not charge complete fare it they give WL tickets to a person selecting an intermediate bording stn.
Do not have time to go to PRS counter...online it shown WL, where as tickets are available in train.
presently this facility is not available online, online system takes the quota of the boarding station ... this facility online will start for journey after 1st september Or october i guess
