#City Info: Mathura lies at Western part of Uttar Pradesh. It is considered as one of the holiest pilgrimage in Hinduism. It is the birth place of Lord Krishna, and His childhood days. Mathura district comprises divine places of Vrindavan, Barsana, Gokul, Govardhan. Along with IOC refinery, Cantonment helps Mathura station to be one of the busy and patrongae giving station.

* One can get sharing auto towards Vrindavan, Janmabhoomi, Bus Stand from station itself.

#River: Mathura is on bank of River Yamuna. MTJ KSJ lines crosses Yamuna at its one of the broadest form near Vishram Ghat.

#Culture: Blend of Western Up, Northern UP, Rajasthani and Haryavani culture.

#Language: Hindi and its Brij, Marwari and Haryanvi dialect..
*Bengali can be seen written at most of the places in Vrindavan.

Yesterday it was added to "Legendry Trains of India" by an oversight. I regret for the inadvertant error. Thank God it went un-noticed. Removed from there and added to "History of Railway Stations".
