For my return journey I booked a Sleeper class ticket from Coimbatore to Trichy by today's Semmozhi Express three days ago. At the time of booking it was WL 128/57. It advanced to WL 22 by noon today. As confirmation chances were less I booked a tatkal sleeper class ticket by the same train around 3.00 p.m today. The status was WL 4/2. Now I find that my Tatkal booking has been upgraded to AC 3T Berth B1 35 and the general booking has advanced to RAC and allotted RS5 55 (Sitting accommodation in side lower berth). I have filed a TDR for cancellation of this ticket. This is second time I am getting auto upgraded. First one was about three years back for my waitlisted sleeper class ticket by Nilagiri express from Mettupalaym to Chennai. I feel elated.
