Why is Railways not making this train regular?It is a very good and in demand train throughout the year. The other trains from Ahmedabad (Sarvodaya) and Jamnagar(Sindhu) can be run at different timings so that Swaraj can be made regular. Also as Ahmedabad is lacking a good train to Delhi at night, Sarvodaya and Sindhu timings can be changed so as to leave Ahmedabad at about 11pm.
Yes you are right and they should increase the speed of the train also. The travel time between Bandra Terminus to New Delhi should be reduced.
Bandra Terminus Dep: 10:15 AM New Dep Time
New Delhi Arr: 4:30 AM i.e. current Time
While in return they should increase speed and reduce travel...

Also they should remove halts like Meghnagar and Bhawani Mandi
It is the fastest express train between Mumbai and Delhi after the Rajdhani and Garib Rath. So time may not be reduced much although there is scope to reduce it. But it should be made daily.
