Madikeri: 118km from Mysore on state highway.Buses/Taxis available.
Interestingly, the land-locked Coorg does not have an inch of railways

One can't just depend on road distance to conclude on nearest station to a tourist spot, as it should have good connectivity. Mysore is pretty well connected where as its pretty hard to find passenger trains at Sakleshpur.
