deccan queen has Dining car (35 persons at a time) whereas mandovi has Pantry car.
Service and taste wise both these train's food are nearly same.
In Deccan queen you can sit in the dining car itself and fill your tummy , whereas in mandovi , the pantry people will bring food and eatable things to your seats for selling just like in normal trains.

Deccan queen only break fast and light tea-coffee juice are available while going from Pune to Mumbai at day time, whereas evening snacks and tea-coffee with beverages are provided during evening return Mumbai to Pune. As train doesn't runs while in afternoon or dinner time , so no heavy meal is provided.
Whereas Mandovi runs throughout the day , so full lunch meal, breakfast ,and evening snacks are available.
Taste wise both are somehow same. but Mandovi gives a better eating sight with Konkan ghats view.
Whereas in deccan queen only for little time bhor ghat is present.
