MEANINGLESS E-WALLET -
IRCTC has now introduced E-Wallet, so that one can make hassle free payment while booking ticket on internet. However, it says your money deposited with them cannot be used between 8am and 12noon. But that is the crucial time when your booking need to be hassle free, and quite often the process gets stuck just at the payment gateway leading to timing out, even when the amount is debited from the bank. Particularly on pressure routes and during Tatkal booking, within minutes bookings run into waitlist, and there are no hopes of getting confirmed ticket at second chance. Hence there is no point in locking money in E-Wallet if it doesn't come to your help in dire need.
