Nearest Station to Visit famous Jog Falls, Highest water falls in India. Jog falls are about 18 kms from Talguppa. Best time to visit is just after monsoon.

from where? try reaching shimoga. ..then u ll gwt plenty of busses to jog...jog also directly connected to honnavara, bangalore and mysore

Jog Falls is well connected by Bus from Shimoga. Bus too takes the route via talguppa to reach Jog Falls. I made to Jog Fall via Shimoga. it takes almost 3.5 hours to reach jog from shimoga

Jog Falls is created by the Sharavathi River falling from a height of 253 m (830 ft), making it the second-highest plunge waterfall in India after the Nohkalikai Falls with a height of 335 m (1100 ft) in Meghalaya.
