KALYAN Mu'ed WAG7 twin Tiger face bankers help the train climb up the rough Kasara Ghats on a rainy monsoon day .The bankers are attached at Kasara and detached at Igatpuri . The WCAM/3 will be replaced with a pure AC Loco from IGP onwards. The Kasara Ghats looks heavenly with greenery spelled all over during the monssons!

The rake of this train comprises of Hybrid LHB coaches, these are LHB shelled coaches mounted over improved ICF bogies by including a Yaw dampener for improved riding quality. How ever the Max. speed of these coaches are limited to only 120 -130 KMPH. These coaches have CBC coupler's.
Production of these Hybrid coaches have been stopped and now Indian Railways prefers stainless steel shell mounted on FIAT bogies fitted with Disc breaks. The coaches are longer than the ICF coaches and due to this, they were able to accommodate more passengers per coach and all the coaches of this design have CBC couplers. These type of coaches are certified fit to run at 160 Kmph.
