1) Kalyan to Virar Local
via Kopar BSR... for the benefit of ppl of WR surburbs in Virar to reach Kalyan in shortest possible time to board express trains from kalyan instead of LTT/CSTM. and local passenger need to travel all the way double trip frm virar to dadar n dadar to kyn. Also for the benefit of CR ppl of Kalyan/Dombivali mainly to have access to trains like Trivandrum Rajdhani Express, Goa Sampark Kranti Express at Vasai road instead of changing trains at thane station with all luggage...

2) Kalyan to Vashi Local
via single track in mumbra/Kalva (tunnel)- Airoli section atleast during early morning hours and in evening mainly for the youth travelling fromKarjat/Badlapur/Kalyan/Dombivali for thier engg/medical colleges in New Mumbai and also for office going people. going via Thane is troublesome... because KYN-CST mainline gets jam packed and also Thane to Vashi/Panvel gets jam packed during morning n evening.
3)2 min halt of 12542/12542 Gorakhpur Express and 17317/17318 Hubli Express at Kalyan as I have always observed at KYN PRS kyn ppl booking tickets of 12542 train n have to travel all the way to ltt to board. trains like 22109 is provided with halt at KYN and so should this train too
