I beg to differ here. How can a bridge which is 130 years old be FILTHY? It is still relentlessly serving all kinds of trains....EMU, Passenger, Mail/Express, Freights & on unusual circumstances- many of the trains through Dankuni & that includes SDAH Rajdhani also. I find this bridge to be Magnificent!
this is not vivekananda setu....this is jubilee bridge
u mistook it with that bridge...
this bridge has mps of 10 where as vivekananda setu has 100mps

Yes sir I am talking about the Jubilee bridge. Vivekananda bridge is not 100+ years old. That is why I said- "& on unusual circumstances- many of the trains through Dankuni & that includes SDAH Rajdhani also." These trains had been diverted through Jubilee bridge a few times.
yes this is the rajendrapool of ER :P but rjo is more dear & costly..& here there are lot of alternatives but for rjo there is no alternative. for eg,trains which start from SDAH/KOAA & want to go towards BWN/ASN can take DAKE route which is having the facility of Third Line, trains originating from HWH need not cross any of them....only trains starting from SDAH/KOAA & going towards BAK Loop has to use this bridge compulsorily but in case of RJO,even freights also have to use it.
