Siddharth S^~ 23601 blog postsCatering order is taken before Virudhunagar and food is loaded at Madurai- If people are boarding at Madurai or beyond its better to pack your food from hotels available at Madurai as chances of catering food are slim unless some excess food is loaded
Not only for this train, for all trains starting beyond south to Madurai, catering provided mostly in MDU or VPT and thereafter can't get food. So better bringing own food or arranging from outside hotels is better for passengers from VPT and MDU
