This trains rake should be used as NED-AWB Intercity SPL. There is a huge traffic between NED and AWB. Most of the people are travelling in Reserved Coaches due to less no. of trains. 17609 Patna-Purna Express come to Purna on Tuesday Morning and will start its journey for Patna on Friday Evening. Then in this case we can send this rake as NED-AWB SPL on Tuesday Evening, ahead of Nandigram Exp. In the mean time maintainace also be done on Tuesday, if any at Purna. In the return direction we can return back this train on Wednesday Morning after Rameshwaram Exp but before Sachkhand Exp. Same procedure can be done on Wednesday and Thursday for Up-Down journey. This rake will be free on Thursday Evening and Railway staff will get almost 24 HRS to do the maintainace again, and train will back to Patna on Friday Evening.
