If you are booking this train from Bangalore, please board it at city station itself- this train generally reaches Bangalore city late so need to stay awake for long if you boarding from any suburb of Bangalore- generally departs from Bangalore city only past midnight as its arrival is also generally delayed
After AJJ this is a office goers train- so if yoiu get up beyond aJJ dont be surprised to find someone else occupying your berth

Not anymore. After Train timing had advanced to reach MAS at 0700, this is punctual enough. (IMO, I've experienced 16022 running late 1 or 0130 hrs. 5-15min deviation isn't a big deal for train having lot of stops after KPD!)
