This whole gujjur thing is causing a lot of inconvenience to everyone.
I had my train on 28th December from NDLS. It got delayed by 12 hours 20 minutes.
Finally, it departed around 5.30 am last morning. Reached Mumbai Central approximately around 11 am today.

It was bad luck for you to have your scheduled travel during this agitation or vice-versa.
Yes Manoj. I agree but I enjoy traveling no matter what.
Apart from that, I am wondering why Rajdhani is getting comparatively more delays.
I don't know current status of other trains but on 22nd December, I traveled with Maharashtra Sampark Kranti Express. It had this very same diverted route but it departed on time and was just 8 hours late because of alternative route. Its not the same thing with Rajdhani it seems. Also a fellow traveler in the same Sampark Kranti told me that, August Kranti Rajdhani on 22nd got...

If a Rajdhani is late, additional meals ARE provided, but only dal, chawal and maybe some left-over salad, fruit etc. Forget about the usual Rajdhani meal. Ironically, the very passengers, who make outrageous demands for Chinese, Continental etc, for the regular meal and snicker at the quality and quantity served, gobble the dal-chawal like mazdoors, when the train is delayed. LOL. Such is life, friends :-)
