All AC 2-Tier coaches have two power sockets within each 2x2 compartment (see photo taken in coach A2). Most seem to work but travellers with a 2-pin plug must be mindful that some sockets are a bit wobbly and the power connection keeps getting interrupted.
If you have a laptop with a 3-pin plug, use a USB cable to charge your phone (if USB charging is supported)
Oddly enough the Side Upper/Lower berths have *no* power sockets which is extremely disappointing!
