Electrification done very less compare to target.... kindly verify from ur end.... how much CRS, How much 2KV to 25KV conversion, how much engine trial done!!! IF U goes through the data, u ll find some target section this fiscal also which were targeted last fiscal.

Major Achievements of 2016-17 Few points.
2855 kms of Doubling, gc commissioned highest ever.
953 kms of new lines commissioned higuest ever.
2013 kms of electrification route has been done against target of 2000 kms which is highest ever.

Same incident happend last year, they published electrification done 1700+km but later I have found it is about 1100km electrified

For ur reference..... 16-17 target section under NJP electfcn div, 351km targeted for CRS but not a single km CRS done in 16-17. then how RM achieve the target???

2016-17 electrification target 2000 kms (2013 kms achieved).
2017-18 electrification target is 4000 kms let see.
I think in 2018-19 electrification target will be 6000 kms let see.

NEW DELHI: Railways have stepped up efforts to electrify 4000 km route in the current fiscal, a quantum jump from the last year's target of 2000 km.
Pace of electrification has gained traction as the railways has rolled an action plan to drastically decrease the use of diesel in order to reduce energy cost and greenhouse gas emission.
Currently, only 42 per cent of total track network is electrified, rest section is operating on fossil fuel.
energy bill is touching about Rs 32,000 crore a year out of which diesel is about Rs 20,000 crore.
With electrification of major rail routes, the energy bill is likely to come down by Rs 10,000 crore.
During the last three years (2014-2017) and for 2017-18, total number of 93 railway electrification projects consisting 16,815 route kilometer at an estimated cost of Rs 17,165 crore have been included in the Budget.
The pace of electrification has been increased from present average of 1700 km route per annum to 4000 km in 2017-18, a senior Railway Ministry official said.
According to the action plan, about 22,000 km route has to be electrified by 2021.
Further, to expedite electrification of railway lines in the country, various steps have been taken, which include award of turn-key contracts and better project monitoring mechanism, he said.
Railways has also enhanced power of field units for award of contracts including sanction of estimates while increasing the number of executing agencies from existing three to six by entrusting electrification works to new agencies such as Indian Railway Construction Company, Rail India Technical and Economic Services and Power Grid Corporation of India Limited.
In order to reduce dependence on fossil fuels, railways has planned to source about 1000 MW solar power as a part of the Solar Mission of Railways and about 200 MW of power from wind mill power plants based on techno commercial assessments.

इलाकेके लोगों को संभवतः अगले महीने लंबी दूरी की एक और दैनिक रेलगाड़ी की सौगात मिल सकती हैं। दिल्ली से असम के डिब्रूगढ़ के बीच वर्ष 1974 से चलने वाली गाड़ी संख्या 14055/14056 ब्रह्मपुत्र मेल को दिल्ली के बाद वाया रेवाड़ी-सादुलपुर-हनुमानगढ़ श्रीगंगानगर तक विस्तारित करने की तैयारी हैं।
इस ट्रैन के लिए खुद उत्तर पश्चिम रेल प्रसासन ने कदम बढ़ाए हैं। जेडआरयूसीसी के पूर्व सदस्य भीम शर्मा ने बताया कि उत्तर-पश्चिम रेलवे के मुख्य यात्री परिचालन प्रबंधक ने रेलवे बोर्ड को एक प्रस्ताव बनाकर भेजा हैं।
प्रस्ताव में सीपीटीएम ने रेलवे
बोर्ड को इस रुट पर यात्रीभार राजस्थान, हरियाणा की जनता की जरुरत के साथ-साथ सीमा क्षेत्र के चलते सेना की जरुरत का हवाला दिया गया हैं। खास बात ये है कि गाड़ी को श्रीगंगानगर तक विस्तारित करने के लिए रेलवे बोर्ड से एक अतिरिक्त रैक लोको की मांग कर श्रीगंगानगर में इसके मेंटिनेंस की बात भी स्वीकारी गई हैं। उत्तर पश्चिम रेलवे इस गाड़ी को चलाने के लिये बिल्कुल तैयार हैं। रेलवे बोर्ड की स्वीकृति मिलने के बाद रेल सुिवधा लोगों को मिलने लगेगी।
वर्तमान में गाड़ी दिल्ली से डिब्रूगढ़ के मध्य 2597 किलोमीटर का सफर यह गाड़ी 52 घंटे 45 मिनट में पूरा कर रही हैं। इस दौरान यह 59 स्टेशनों पर ठहराव कर रही हैं। श्रीगंगानगर तक विस्तारित होने के बाद यह सफर करीब 468 किलोमीटर बढ़कर करीब 3065 किलोमीटर हो जाएगा। डिब्रूगढ़ से रवाना होकर यह ट्रैन सुबह 06.05 बजे पुरानी दिल्ली आगमन कर रात्रि 11.40 बजे डिब्रूगढ़ के लिए प्रस्थान करती हैं। इस हिसाब से यह ट्रैन हर रोज शाम को श्रीगंगानगर पहुंचेगी सुबह श्री गंगानगर से प्रस्थान करेगी।
ट्रैन श्रीगंगानगर तक विस्तारित हो जाती हैं तो श्रीगंगानगर लोहारू, महेंद्रगढ़ ,कनीना, रेवाड़ी गुड़गांव स्टेशनों से सीधे रेल मार्ग से जुड़ जाएगा। साथ ही सादुलशहर, नोहर, भादरा, सादुलपुर इलाके की जनता को दिल्ली जाने के लिये ट्रैन भी मिल जाएगा। यह इलाका जमालपुर जंक्शन, भागलपुर साहिबगंज, मालदा टाउन, किशनगंज, न्यू जलपाईगुड़ी, धुपगुड़ी, न्यू कूचबिहार, न्यू अलीपुरदुर, रंगिया जंक्शन, कामाख्या जंक्शन, गुवहाटी, छपटमुख जंक्शन, दीमापुर मरियानी जंक्शन, सिमालगुड़ी जंक्शन न्यू तिनसुकिया से सीधा जुड़ जाएगा।
