Railways should extend 11447/48 JBP-HWH Shaktipunj Express to Bhopal/Indore. A majority of the passengers in Shaktipunj Express travel to Singrauli and they have to travel to Jabalpur from Bhopal/Indore by connecting trains such as Amarkantak or Janshatabdi Exp. just to catch their onward train and waste most of the time in the waiting room. Like 11472/71 JBP-BPL was extended to Indore, 11447/48 should also be extended for the benefit of the passengers. From Bhopal, there are only two trains which connect Bhopal to Singrauli that too only twice a week (Tuesday and Thursday). Singrauli is a town with many industries and many people from there come to Bhopal/Indore for higher education and coaching institutes. A daily direct connectivity would definitely benefit the people from both the cities.

and Kota division of WCR is not treated well compared to JBP division which is the also the HQ of WCR. JBP division always gets priority over other divisions of WCR.
02191/92 JBP-SRC should also be extended to Bhopal. There are only two direct trains from Bhopal to Kolkata that too weekly. 02191/92 should start from Bhopal/Habibganj along with stoppage of 22829/30 BHUJ-SHM Exp. at Bhopal to benefit the people travelling to ROU/HTE/TATA/KGP/RIG/KRBA. There is also no option of flights to travel to Ranchi/Kolkata.
Connectivity to the eastern part of India is very poor from Bhopal. WCR/Railways should look into the matter.

Absurd and useless demand. Extension of Kolkata trains from JBP because SGRL needs a train to BPL is the most baseless justification that one can come up with.
JBP SRC Special was JBP's demand entirely. The train is going no where from here.
Demand for your own train than snatching them from other places.

Exactly !!. But brother it is not a useless demand i agree it is absurd. Bhopal needs a dedicated train to kolkata, Bhopal currently have only 2 good options to kolkata shipra and bpl hwh express. Shipra comes almost pack from indore and bpl hwh is very slow. I think railway need to speed up that train and make it daily by changing its time table making it a Superfast train would serve for singrauli also. And bro he is just asking for extension, here no one is snatching anywhere's train by demanding here no one gets nothing thats we all know but he's got a legit point when bhopal trains gets extended to indore and jabalpur like bhopal-rajkot express to jbp and overnight to indore, then why cant jabalpur and indore trains can be extended to bhopal. I am just saying, no offense to anyone.

Half of the occupancy in Shaktipunj is from Bhopal and Indore-based people who travel to Singrauli as they don't have a direct connectivity (not many people come to Jabalpur to study or to find job). And btw no one is snatching anyone's train if the train gets extended they should increase its composition as well to accommodate more passengers. It's all about benefitting the people not signifying any division or station's importance.
When they extended Rajkot-Bhopal to JBP, where were you then. Should've told them not to snatch other division's train just because you are HQ of WCR.

1. Already a tri-weekly JBP INDB in the morning which runs with almost zero patronage
2. Extremely long rake. Even JBP HBJ does not have that many coaches.
3. No need of changing the power to electric. That will just waste more time.

Rather than extending to UJN, try routing via UJN.
The route will then be like INDB-DWX-UJN-MKC-BPL-ET-JBP-KTES-SGRL
