Every time these kind of demands and proposal sent to Railways from Bhopal but what we get, Nothing!. I read these kind of news each year that BPL Div railway officials sent certain demands to Rb to be fulfilled in budget but in return we get loads of passing trains and near to nill originating trains or either got trains which are not required like Bhopal-Bareily and HBJ-INDB_HBJ Double Decker Express, but genuine demands are not fullfilled. If each year one of the proposed train could have introduced na to till noe Bhopal could have get all of these trains but Railways didn't even see Bhopal. Not even Elections make the trains for MP specialy for Bhopal. We have to depend on Indore and Jabalpur Trains for Travelling to some cities because Indore and Jabalpur train have some chances of getting seats which is not the case with rest of 200...
trains passing from Bhopal. On the other hand politician spoils some of the good trains by demanding halts at station which do not even generate enough revenue for that trains like Bhopal Shatabdi. In reality direct trains to Pune, Mumbai, Banglore,Chennai,Allahabad,Varanasi,Kolkata, Bihar (Patna,MFP etc) is needed badly from bhopal. Bhopal is well connected within the Madhya Pradesh in terms of dedicated trains that to not very well connected with singrauli which is still a demand from many years. A morning train to Delhi is needed which can be started as Tejas Express between Bhopal jn and Hazrat Nizamuddinas the only morning train which will give us confirm seats is AP AC Express Punjab Mail and Jhelum are huge waitlisted but thay all take plenty of time to cover distance by introducing tejas we can reach delhi by afternoon. A daily Superfast Train to Muzaffarpur via Bina,Katni,Allahabad,Varanasi and Patna would be boon for UP/Bihar as well as Bhopal people as well as hundreds of Students from UP/Bihar who are studying in Bhopal also it will reduce the Load of Rewanhal Express. Pune Train is needed ,Hbj-Ltt should be made daily. Singrauli and Khajuraho Train should start ASAP, Train to Banglore via Chennai and Via Hydrabad is needed so that important southern cities could connect. But what for I know Bhopal still get Nothing but dissappointment.

New Delhi, Jan 4: Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will present the first combined General and Railway Budget on February 1. According to sources, the government is unlikely to hike the passengers fare in the first combined General and Railway Budget. The decision on hike in passengers fare will be taken by the Finance Ministry as no separate Railway Budget will be presented. Sources said the government wants to increase passengers fare to improve infrastructure and services of Indian Railways, but the move is unlikely to be taken considering Assembly elections in poll-bound Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Goa and Manipur.
According to a report of Jagran, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu are of the view that passengers fare
should be hiked. Arun Jaitley on December 20 also gave hint that there could be hike in passengers fare. “The first essential principles of running any establishment, particularly a commercial establishment, are that the consumer must pay for the services that they receive,” Jaitley said at National Conference on Accounting Reforms in Indian Railways.
According to Railway Ministry sources, the department is expected to have an operating ratio of 94 per cent for the current financial year. Operating ratio shows how much of revenue goes into meeting expense. Lower the ratio better it is for the railways. “We have got a huge liability in the form of seventh pay commission award. The growth in coal and steel loading has been flat. Keeping all this mind, I think we have done a decent job by controlling the operating ratio at 94,” Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu said. The Railway Minister had targeted an operating ratio of 92 per cent.
The government had in September scrapped the 92-year old practice of presenting a separate railway budget and decided to present a combined general and railway budget for 2017-18 on February 1, 2017. Rail minister Suresh Prabhu raised neither the passenger fares nor freight rates in his second Rail Budget tabled in the Parliament in February 2016

in 2014 - Govt hikes railway fares by 14.2 pc, freight charges increased by 6.5 pc
and indirectly many times.
like inc. service charge, etc
surge fare in premium trains, rajdhani nad shatabdi, duranto
increasing but facilities and all not increasing
people are ready to pay more for better facilities with punctuality of trains.
most part of northern india facing FOG conditions in which trains are getting delayed upto 50hrs.
what the government doing in this matter.
if some VVIP travelling then wo train mostly 3-4hrs getting delayed during winter if this train with VVIP can travel at its best in winter then why can't other trains too

नई दिल्ली। आपकी रेल यात्रा टिकट का स्टेटस यदि आरएसी में आ जाता है तो भूल जाइए कि आपको कंफर्म बर्थ मिलेगा। क्योंकि, रेल मंत्रालय ने आपको आधे बर्थ पर सफर करवाने का फैसला किया है, लेकिन आपसे पैसा पूरा वसूला जाएगा। रेलवे ने इसके लिए सर्कुलर भी जारी कर दिया है।
अपने सर्कुलर में रेलवे ने आरएसी बर्थ की संख्या में बढ़ोतरी कर दी है, जिसे तत्काल प्रभाव से लागू भी कर दिया गया है। रेलवे के इस फैसले से रेलवे के राजस्व में बढ़ोतरी तो हो जाएगी, लेकिन यात्रियों की परेशानी बढ़नी तय है। क्योंकि आरएसी बर्थ पर दिन में तो किसी तरह सफर किया जा सकता है, लेकिन रात के वक़्त जब आधी सीट पर सिकुड़ कर सोना आसान
नहीं है।
यह बढ़ोतरी स्लीपर, थ्री-टायर और टू-टायर एसी श्रेणी के कोच में की गई है। सर्कुलर के मुताबिक अब स्लीपर क्लास के प्रत्येक कोच में साइड लोअर की 7 सीटें आरएसी के लिए आरक्षित की गई हैं। यानी इनपर कुल 14 यात्री सफर करेंगे। पहले इसमें 5 सीटें आरएसी के लिए थी, जिनपर 10 यात्री सफर करते थे।
वहीं थ्री-टायर एसी क्लास के प्रत्येक कोच में आरएसी बर्थ की संख्या 4 कर दी गई है, जिनपर 8 यात्री सफर कर सकेंगे। पहले इसमें 2 सीटें आरएसी के लिए थी, जिनपर 4 यात्री सफर करते थे। इसी तरह टू-टायर एसी क्लास के प्रत्येक कोच में अब 3 बर्थ आरएसी के लिए आरक्षित किए गए हैं, जिनपर 6 यात्री सफर कर सकेंगे। पहले इसमें 2 बर्थ थे, जिनपर 4 यात्री बैठकर सफर करते थे।

since 2006 railway had change tendency to not give stop exp/sf train at valsad dont know why. some exception is PUNE-GWL, BDTS-GIMB weekly and VIVEK exp okha-tutikorin only
