This is precisely the result when poor folks are priced out of train tickets by eliminating SL coaches. They end up either paying through their noses for tickets or simply barge ticketless into 3A/3E, and those who willingly paid more to travel in comfort are deprived of the same. It's almost as if every train will now have a "Garib Rath" in it, without the cheaper GR fares or the speed.
Even more shocking that they'd do this to a train like VSG-JSME that serves blue-collar workers almost entirely. Makes me fear...

They should introduce more Antyodaya-type trains to make up for what they've done, but I suspect that if profit was the reason to add way more AC coaches than the demand, then profit (or rather lack thereof) will be the reason to not introduce Antyodaya-type trains.

It's likely that some folks would've stretched to afford the 3E/3A fares instead of boarding connecting trains via Mumbai, because the latter option would still be more expensive than SL fare for direct journey in this train. For a means of public mass transit I don't think it's correct that people should be forced to cough up the cost of AC classes by doing rake standardization, such long distance train journeys aren't a luxury for most.
Also regarding the question of running an Antyodaya train on this route, it could be argued...

VSG-HYB/TPTY express already runs on Fridays, just before Amaravathi. KCG slip should be cancelled, VSG-HYB should be made in to a dedicated train 4 days a week and TPTY train can be scheduled on some other time/day wherever slot is available.
Amaravathi coaches are absolutely terrible in current state, not to mention given the distance it covers, it needs a speed-up and upgrade to SF in addition to LHB rakes.

First LHB run of 17321 Vasco Jasidih express captured by me at SVM railway station (14kms from my hometown)
This is 1st regular LHB train for VSG CDO overall 2nd LHB train for them after VSG NZM clone Humsafar.
But for Savordem railway station (SVM) this is ours first LHB train 😍 coz that Clone Humsafar used to skip SVM.

If they are about to cancel like they did last two times for doubling related works then only this one is not available and that too in one direction.
Either expecting an LHB rake, but that doesn't explain why return journey bookings are available. Could it be the train is being transferred to ER?
