Saare Passenger (Ordinary), MEMU aur DEMU trains apne Pre-covid number series ke saath 1 July se chalenge.
Covid se pehle, Passenger (Ordinary) trains ka number 5 se shuru hua karta tha aur MEMU aur DEMU ka 6 aur 7 respectively.
Lekin COVID lockdown ke baad, sab trains cancel ho gayi thi aur kuch trains ko "COVID Special Express" ke naam se samay samay par chalaya gaya tha jinki numbers 0 se shuru hoti thi.
Lockdown hatane ke baad, saare trains apne Pre-covid avastha mein wapas convert ho gaye lekin jin trains mein IInd Class Ordinary kiraye lagti thi, wo ab bhi Special Express ke roop mein chal rahe hain. 22 Feb ko, un trains mein IInd Class Ordinary kiraye fir se chalu ki gayi thi lekin asal train ka number restore nahi hua tha isliye wo trains ab bhi Special Express (MEMU Express, Unreserved Express, DEMU Express) ya Passenger Special ke roop mein chal rahe hain.
Ab ant mein, 1 July se saare trains jo IInd Class Ordinary kiraye wale hain, fir se apne maujooda series ke numbers ke saath chalenge.
NR ke passenger trains ko regular numbers ke saath dobara numbering kar diya jayega wef 01/07/2024 jaise pre-COVID samay mein chal rahi thi.

When such a big shot officer like DRM Lucknow sends out such a wrong tweet from their official Twitter/X account, what else can be said about the railways, man?

This tweet clearly says that on 11th June, the 04296 Kanpur Lucknow MEMU would be rescheduled by 180 minutes (3 hours) from Kanpur Central.
But today, on 11th July, this MEMU is running right on time without any exceptions.
Because of this tweet, who knows how many passengers were inconvenienced. Many passengers living near small stations close to Unnao had to rush by road to Unnao to catch the Chitrakoot Express.
I myself came to Unnao with many others to catch the Chitrakoot Express because of DRM Lucknow's tweet that the MEMU was 3 hours late.
But after buying an Express ticket worth 35 bucks, I found out that the MEMU had already left from Kanpur.
This is kinda shady business by the railways, man.
First, I had to spend 30 bucks to get to Unnao, and then I had to spend another 35 for an express ticket here.
If DRM Lucknow hadn't tweeted this, my job would have been done in just 15 bucks.
I didn't have a problem spending the extra cash.
The problem was the morning rush where I had to wake up early and rush to Unnao to catch the CHITRAKOOT EXPRESS.

Lekin CHITRAKOOT EXPRESS me Express ka 35 rupay ka ticket lene ke baad pata chala ki MEMU to chal di hai Kanpur se. Ye to ek tarah se dhokhebaazi hai railways ki. Mujhe pahele 30 rupay kharch krke Unnao aana padh fir yaha se 35 ka ticket lena padha express ka. Jabki agar DRM Lucknow ye tweet na krte to mera kaam bas ₹15 me ho jaata. Mujhe paise jaada kharch hone se problem nhi hui. Problem hui to us savere ki bhaaga daudi se jisme mujhe savere jaldi uth kar Unnao bhagna padha CHITRAKOOT EXPRESS pakadne ke liye.
