Massively slowed down in HIJ-BKSC part of the journey. HIJ to BKSC is 289.5 kms, Purushottam average speed 45 kph from 1/7/24. HIJ to BKSC will now take 6 hrs 25 mins!!

Ye kaha dekh liya? 10-15 years aage aisa schedule hota tha. Why would they even degrade the current schedule which is absolutely fine.

Kaafi hai abhi bhi. NGP-CSMT Duronto, MMCT-HAPA Duronto, HWH-SMVB Duronto to name a few. Even SDAH-BKN Duronto gets a tremendous run with Rajdhani Gang.

vgirik69 44 blog postsI have seen notification from ECoR Train no of 12801/02 Purushottam Superfast Express will be changed to 18401/18402 W.E.F 01.07.24. Good move. I feel 12727/28 also be down graded to normal express as for last 2 years Godavari lost its punctuality both SC side and VSKP side. Unnecessarily, SCR is charging SF for past passenger.

Absolutely phenomenal. Paisawasool train. My only wish is for the down train to be somehow integrated with the almighty gang of Rajdhanis. The punctuality post NDLS takes a big hit on current schedule. (Also wish for the train to be shifted back to NDLS but that won't happen I guess)

If NER can build this suggested route from Kasganj to Hapur via Atrauli, Ahmadgarh, Jahangirabad and Siyana, it will help so much to ease the traffic load in CNB-NDLS and LKO-MB-GZB section and also it will be helpful to the people of respective area along with people of Farrukhabad, Kannauj and Badaun.
This route will run parallel to Ganga river and keeping that in mind it will be mostly 110kmph mps tracks and also will make a junction with Aligarh-Chandausi line.

Would be much better to connect Aligarh Kasganj and Farrukhabad Balamau imo. Would have a new NDLS-LKO sector.
