TejasS~ 8592 blog postsVery little comes by thru onboard catering. The lunch is expensive and not worth it( 150 for veg thali). Only at a couple of stations en-route do you find something worthwhile to eat. Carry food, water, snacks etc from your source as much as possible.

The problem is: General ticket people occupying reservation seats in this 16593 train. See sample image here. If general seats not having then you can stand in reservation seats or if reservation seat empty then they can sat but they are coming sitting like there own seat.

This is a common occurrence during an extended weekend or a holiday. It is not the case on other normal days. May 10th is a holiday in Karnataka and an unusually large number of people travel from Bangalore to their homes at other places to cast their vote.

Hi guys, I am new here and I have joined because I want to visit India for the very last ALCO services before everthing is under wire. I know, I am a bit too late... but that´s life. Can somebody tell me please, where the Sriganganagar-Firozpur-Bathinda-Ludhiana area will be electrified last? If this is known at all? I want to visit in September/October this year and I fear that it really might be too late. Thanks for your help. Peter
The Bhatinda Ludhiana ( via FZR) section may be electrified in the last quarter of 23 while the other sections you've mentioned will remain a non electrified route at least till mid 2024. You may keep a watch here /atlas to check the status.

This train has GEN coaches. Reservation is available on from D1 to D10. Rest are all GEN.

TejasS~ 8592 blog postsThis train stops for 15 mins at Visavadar and 30 mins at Talala. You will find sufficient food to keep yourself full till you reach your destination. There is no onboard catering as such except for some locally grown fruits. Water and other beverages is available ONLY at the 2 stations mentioned.
