JHS is big junction and thus gets benefited with passengers coming from LKO , CNB line as well who wish to travel southwards ...gwl just because it has 4 platforms doesnt mean trains wont stop there ..they will stop ..its a bigger city both infra wise as well as development wise from JHS ..even though they both fall in the same bundelkhand region ...both have their significance ...

babina - jhs approx road distance is 28 km while gwl - tekanpur approx distance is 34 km...all cities are expanding and bringing in the peripheral towns/villages in the limit ..same is the case with gwl..

phir to pune me bhi expansion possible nhi hai ..to trains ke halt hata dene chahiye ...khadki aur hadapsar halt karo ..pune skip karo...yes gwl me platform kum hai ..iska matlab yeh nhi ki imp trains usko skip kare ...

gatiman runs a meager distance of 180km while intercity runs 3 times the distance...from passenger perspective much more important/useful train than gati ...

oh yes , i forgot completely...overrated general coaches . ...full ac traction ...wow !!!...and then gati till JHS becomes comparable to shatabdi ...infact its an expensive way to travel till JHS ...gatiman was much touted to be the best train ..but now it is shatabdi category train ...my preference still KTK SK while travelling from NZM till JHS ...easy journey tkts always available and much cheaper !!!

tourist lol !!!..KSK stops at GWL ..lol !!!..and lesser stoppages between NZM and JHS than gatiman ..lol !!!!! gatimaan was running with very very low patronage and then it was extended to JHS to save it and make it profitable ..touristy train !!!!

touristy train ... :) ...did i say better train anywhere ..looking at the time and cost factor KSK can be a choice for many ...except for your tourists ..touristy train ...

hope you were not a fan of shatabdi when there was no gatiman...poor soul how would anyone catch a train early morning in delhi !!! fabulous reasoning ...this makes all shatabdi useless from delhi ...kudos to your reasoning !!!
