In the picture Steamer departing from Mahendru Ghat, Patna towards Old Pahleza Ghat Railway Station.
Thanks for posting. The first one is a private steamer originating from Baans Ghat to Pahleza Ghat. The second one belonged to Eastern Railway operating from Mahendru Ghat. Strange as it would seem, tickets were issued from Gulzar Bagh to Pahleza Ghat due to some court order. This was the only link between north and south Bihar. Travelled so many times on both the steamers.
