This is the limit yaar..... A express train bound in a short distance running, skipping major station in its path......great.............Why the peoples of valsad are still sleeping??

Exactly.....there r soo many trains which skips valsad and halts at vapi/navsari......
This TT Is same as that used for bandra bhavnagar in past...and that special train was used to halt at valsad..
So Valsad Halt should be given to this Train.

Such a Disappointing move never Expected by Railways towards Valsad.
Not Even a Single Express train Out of the 10 Mail/Express/Superfast trains( Excluding Premium ) given Stoppage at Valsad.
This never had happened in the History of Valsad that it was such Neglected .
These trains (Excluding Premium) are Passing through Valsad this Budget.

Atleast i was expecting Jaipur weekly,Palitana & Bhavnagar train to halt at Valsad but...Rediculous.
Logically if LKO BDTS stops at Bharuch Dahod, then CNB-BDTS must stop at Valsad or Godhra.
Also Chennai-ADI got halt at both Anand & Nadiad &Dist between both station are merely 16 k.m.

Boiser is Ok, its Industrial belt & Got halt of Weekly trains mostly. Boiser is not far behind Valsad for Revenue generation.
Following are ranking in terms of Revenue generation between ADI-BCT route 1) ADI 2) ST 3) BRC 4) Vapi 5) Valsad 6) Bharuch 7) Boiser 8) Anand 9) Nadiad, 10 ) Navsaari.
Few Month a go Sparsh has produce Document proof for same. Even Valsad comes 5th in Revenue generation , it is ignored compare to Bharuch,Anand & Nadiad.

Looking at Schedule of Bhavnagar weekly,it is just regularisation of Bhavnagar Weekly special. So it may halt at Valsad,as special used to halt at Valsad.
But still WR has not updated New train halts in their website yet.

We have been hearing news about Bullet trains being introduced if XYZ comes to power or so & in the present scenario we have much things to do than constructing these .Instead of wasting crores of rupees in the construction of these bullet trains we can invest on trains which can achieve almost same speeds on the present track conditions in India like the Virgin train in the UK or the AMTRAK in US which can achieve great speeds without changing the infrastructure .It would need slight upgradtion but that would be definitely less as compared to construction of new line

Thanks for the Link, it Helped me . However, Flights have Demerits also, you Cannot rely on Flights until and Unless you are Absolutely 100% Confident about your Journey. Advance reservation in Flights is not at all a Good Decision thats why Fare start low.
Secondly, Morning Flights always have Low fares due to Less People Prefering Morning Flights.

evening and night flights too available for as low as rs. 3920. and if one is sure 2 months in advance to go to delhi he can surely book flight cheaper than 1st AC.

In Ahmedabad Division of WR,
the Over 70% of Overall Revenue Contribution ( Passenger as well as Freight ) is Done by the Kutch Region.
The Freights Bound to Mundra Port, the ADANI Industries, and other Freight areas, brings the Double Stack Containers, and other High revenue Freights to it.
In Terms of Passenger Revenue also Atleast 40-50% of Passenger Revenue is
Given by Viramgam-Samakhiyali-Gandhidham-Bhuj Section.
But Still their Demands are not Met.
But Unlike you, they Don't Coin Ahmedabad Division as Loosers nor they Agitate for Special Division Status.
Its Over all in India that Public Demands are not Met by Railway officials even being a High Revenue Generating.
But Still, Coining Out terms Like Loosers is Pretty Shameful on Human Part. I request all the People to those Who are Supporting Gulbarga not to Coin Specific Division/Station/Character as Loosers.

But Gandhidam has pit line and is Terminus station and many trains originate from Gandhidam station. If basic facilities are provided by the zone nobody is interested in new division ... But GR lacked all facilities inspite of good revenue ... No pit line no trains originating... And reason why people do not agitate is because both are in same sate. Here scenario is different.... It required RM from GR only then pit line was sanctioned which is still not ready.... If CR had taken care of the stations well nobody wants div...

We agree that Revenue is not the only factor. And we also agree that we are not the only region that is suffered like this. The whole point of argument is why this region is neglected even after being a biggest place in the surrounding? The revenue only supports our argument. As far as western Gujarat is concerned, there are infrastructures for starting trains at GIMB, OKHA, PBR, VRL, BVC etc.... They have good number of trains running, may be inadequate but not that it doesn't have! Now coming to GR, absolutely ZERO trains start from GR. CR/SUR didn't even run a SINGLE passenger train from GR which belongs to CR! Everybody may be suffering, but it is the magnitude that is important.

In Ancient Days Navjeevan Express and Gitanjali Express were the 2 Famous trains, on which Every new Experiment of Indian Railways were Carried out In respect to Accomodation.
And We Cannot Forget 12903/04 Frontier Dada, which was the First train to get AC Coaches, with Ice as workers for Air Conditioning.

Yes. 145/146 Navjivan Exp even used to have a "Book library" a cabin in II SL class where you can borrow books such as Twinkle & Amar Chitra Katha. Coaches were numbered as A,B,C,D just as UK style of coach numbering. In 1984, the first AC 2 Tier coach was introduced. 2A Fare was calculated on basis of First Class + 2AC surcharge.
Navjivan Exp & Frontier Mail were also first candidates for cushioned II SL class (from the former wooden II class sleeper bunks).

I would have Preferred LTT NZM AC as the very very last option to Book from Mumbai to Delhi. Not taking the Punctuality as factor, but Distance. Its Distance Directly hurts my Pocket to Spend More Bucks on AC travel which is weekly. Where one can get Confirmed Easily in 12247/48 Yuva Express and 12907/08 Sampark kranti Express in 3A in Very Low waiting List in Lean season. Not Mentioning Peak Season because In Peak Season you will not get a seat in even Dehradun Express that People book very advance.

Atleast ofcourse I will deny it, Because if I need a Faster travel which even Garibrath and Yuva Can offer me very Much faster and Cheaper than LTT NZM AC. And When I am heading for a train Covering a Long Distance, I will ofcourse take care of my Family that they get Proper Food and Water arranged, even if I need to pay Rs 1000 Extra For it, it will keep my Family Comfortable.

In the Era of AC trains , Shouldn't this train be Augmented with Atleast one AC 3 Tier? Its the only train from Western Route from Surat, Vadodara to Connect to Inner Harayana and Punjab.
