What an Extra-ordinary Journey i had in last 48 hrs

Boarded 14707 Ranakpur Express from Bikaner to Mumbai

The Train Got Loop at first station itself which is udramsar for 18 hrs late running anuvrat Express for 40 mins, which made train delay by 40 mins. 16587 Yesvantpur - Bikaner Express was waiting for us at deshnok. Reached Merta Road with a delay of 45 mins. Did a nonstop Mps Run till Asaranada where we had to pass through the down loop line as there was track work going on, Reached Rai ka Bhag Place jn with a delay of 34 mins. With utilising the Slack giving at Jodhpur , Entered Jodhpur 5 mins Before time, Vatva wap4 22917 was already waiting at rkb end. After Loco Change at Jodhpur, Departed from Jodhpur at 13:38, Delay of 30 mins. poh wdp4d 40095 was waiting with frieght train in bgkt yard , 40095 had Poh from goc shed recently, Prateek was also standing in Bgkt yard , Came with Mandore Express. Did a nonstop run till luni outer , Track work was going on at luni station. Entered Luni station with a delay of 41 mins. Abr wdg3A 14551R unfit for goods and passneger and restricted to 75 kmph was standing at pali marwar, we had taken extended halt at pali marwar as parcel loading was going on. Departed from pali marwar at 15:03 delay by 48 mins. had a good run till Rajkiawas where we had to stop at the home signal as Raniketh Express was getting into loop line, Entered Marwar at 15:32 4 mins BT , making sure ontime entry into ajmer division. It was a pretty good run till abu road , where it was having a 10 min delay, Yoga had crossed us at falna, Route Diverted avadh express was with wdg4g and gkp antyodaya behind it with brc wap7 had cross back to back, We reached palanpur outer 19:01 , 15 mins Bt , and we were made to halt outside for 20 mins and was taken on pnu pf:-3 which was very rare. The Train was doing going as per scedule so decided to sleep after Msh as we had to get up ealry in the morning, It was around 1 am i woke up and saw that we were still standing at ahmedabad Jn , the co passenger and others told that there is some issue between bh - akv as it was raining heavily and the Sardar sarovar Dam ( Narmada river ) is open. Aravali was also standing on adjuscent platform. TTE told if everything will be normal trains will start you may go back inside and sleep, few people had already started to search for the alternative means of transport, Annoucment were made to all the stall mangers to have enough food packets and water bottle, and In mean while just got the message on whatsapp that Narmada Bridge 502 has been closed as water has crossed the danger level. and once it reduce train traffic will be started, Checke the flight tickets of mrng departure all were above 6-7k , So few passenger booked those and i with others decided to wait till morning, I even had option to go to relative places also. I decided to stay back at station for few more hrs, Went back to the seat and was laying on the seat, and went asleep, woke up and it was 5 in the mrng still at ahmedabad. So had spent whole night in the coach at ahmedabad itself, After 5:30 the cancellation of trains started, Karnavati , Double decker was cancelled along with tejas from adi end and Vande bharat , shatabdi and Gujurat Express were cancelled from Mumbai end. spended more time , walking down platfom from one end to other end at ahmedabd, i had an option of flight of AI aounr 5:35 which was 2.5k so i asked my agent to lock it for me and not book it. But Around 9:15 It was announced Ranakpur Express is ready to Depart from ADI. and at 9:20 Ranakpur Express Departed from ahmedabad Jn. though it was a sign of relief but didnt knew what would be situtaion ahead. Gujurat mail was ahead of us as it was loop at vatva.
We had a good run for around more then 15 km which made our coach battery charged so that ac and other stuff were back on, But was again loop at Mahemdavad Kheda Road for 40 mins, Departed from Mahemdavad Kheda Road at 10:42 and a msg from friend ping up that train will be short terminated at Vadodara, Even it was updated on NTES that train will be short terminated at vadodara, When we reached nadiad GJ mail was loop on pf:-1, and annoucmnet had started on pf that ranakpur express will work till brc only, so i started searching for alternative option, There was no flight option also avaible, so decieded to get off at anand and go to a realtive place , Meanwhile all the TTE and Coach attanded also got the msg that train is upto Vadodara only , and few trains departed from bikaner Jco 18 th sep Pune - bikaner and Ranakpur will be short terminated at Jodhpur and merta respectively. once we reached anand station, annoucment was made on station also that train is upto Vadodara only, after getting off and reaching home, Got a message that Water level has reduced and once bridge is fit we will start the opertion, But already They had vide spread the msg of short terminating of all the trains at vadodara, The Birdge was given fit and lines were open around 1 pm, and later on that day i got to know all the trains were sent to mumbai empty, and they werent short terminated at Vadodara. And i got to know many passenger de boarded the trains and searched for alternative mode of transportion and trains were made empty and reached mumbai.

I booked my tickets in karnavati express as it was cancelled from adi end so the R/s of that train wasnt possible and it would run Ontime. I got Premiun tatkal seat in CC. so had to booked that as i had no option left behind, I took karnavati express and Reached Mumbai.

Better communication was Expected from Railway, As once they told it was short terminated and then it went all way upto Mumbai.

Never the less got a good leason and in future if again such things happens will take alternative means of transportation asap or will break the journey till route is normal again
