Don't reduce the AC coaches but remove the 2 parcel vans we will be left with just 18 LHB coaches then add three more SL and one GS. Also reduce the WL in SL class and convert the GS to 2S. RPF and TTEs to ensure strictly that WL and UR pax don't enter the fully reserved train thereafter.

Also things like LHB conversion, DFCs, doubling, tripling, quadrapling, new line projects which are implemented now should have been done long back but instead they focussed only on introducing new and new trains adding new category of trains without anyone giving a serious thought on capacity expansion. Also Railways should have gradually raised fares in SL and GS classes too in accordance with the inflation over the years. But they didn't do any unfortunately and we are in the mess now.

Firstly, I am totally against the standardization happening at such a speedy rate. Please do not consider me as one who would support these things. This should have had been started long back to comply with the current scenario and also at a slow rate. In that case my support would have been to this concept. For that, it should have been done that every 2-3 years, one SL/GS is replaced by one other AC coach. Then today all this hue and cry would be out.

no doubt. But the air drag makes the acceleration difficult, these are from the technical POV. If we have to go beyond 130 kmph, we need to go for AC trains.

BAD day for those who are dreaming for India as developed nation till 2047.

A person who is ready to pay 3115 and in PT, this amount reach upto even 10000 will now have to look for other options just because INDIAN RAILWAYS want a person who wants to pay just 825 can travel.

Economy works on demand price relationship but in Indian Railways they are satisfying demand of that class which is paying just 825 and not even able to support there own cost of travel.

A person who could have contributed 10000 Rupees to Government using that government can feed 10 passengers of those category who just want to pay 825, Now will pay the same or more amount to some private operator which will result more financial losses to government and more earning for businessmen.


I will say that now Third Class coaches should also be reintroduced to more poor population can travel.

रेलवे कर्मचारियों के लिए तो एक बहुत बड़े बदलाब की जरूरत है। रेलवे में करप्शन बहुत ही ज्यादा है। किसी भी प्रोजेक्ट में 50% साफ करप्शन की भेंट चढ़ जाता है जिसमे प्राइवेट ठेकेदार से लेके सरकारी अधिकारी तक सभी शामिल है।
इसके अतरिक्त रेलवे में बहुत सारे कर्मचारी ऐसे है जिनके लिए दिन में 2 घंटे भी काम alloted नही किया है तथा कुछ ऐसे है जिनकी कम काम में भी बहुत ज्यादा सैलरी है।
कुछ ऐसे भी है जिनसे बहुत ज्यादा काम लिया जा रहा है और उनकी सैलरी काफी कम

Bhai Ameer log train mein travel nahi karte. Aur agar ameeron se itni hi nafrat hai toh unke tax ke paiso se jo bhi suvidhayein milti hai voh lena band kar do. Iss train ke AC classes mein bahut sare middle class aur upper middle class log travel karte the. Iske AC coaches full chal rahe the itne AC coaches Kam karne ki jarurat nahi thi.

This train should be degraded to M/E category for the third class TT it's given in ET NZM ET section.
12779 has scheduled overtakes by 6 SFs and 1 Rajdhani just between GWL and NZM.
12780 has overtakes by 4 Rajdhanis, 2 Durontos, 1 Garib Rath, 3 SFs and 2 Humsafars between NZM and ET.
I don't think there is any SF

The most humiliation 12779 getting overtaken by Gondwana SF which had twice it's number of halts in ET NZM section.
Even after LHB conversion and 130kph upgraded no chances of speed up so better will be to degrade to M/E and stop cheating passengers into paying SF surcharge.
