Disagree:Should not be done.
Urge Railway to take one more initiative, like they are degrading SF TO M/E. A train which Halts is less than 50Km should declared as Fast passenger. Views are awaited............!

Low mps of many section, excessive Freight movement, lot of local trains, too many intermediate stations, no Loop lines on many stations.

Then some gradients in Gaya Koderma and cic zone. Also forest zone and naxal belt also play role in average speed decline.

It should be below 40 kmph.
20 - 39 kmph = Suburban trains / Fast pgr category.
40-59 kmph = Mail / exp category
60-69 kmph = Superfast / Ac superfast.
70 kmph

is more then selling price of same product in international market then how viable the production o that product?

Now coming to your examples of shopkeepers of fertilizers, seeds, pesticides etc. then you must know that if there is any loss for shopkeepers then no one will help but if there wil be loss for farmers, he will get compensation. If there is more revenue to shopkeeper, he needs to pay income tax but earning from farming is completely tax free.

Even after such liberties if farming is a cause of loss then time not to curse your KISHMAT, UPARWALA etc. Time to curse on your decisions.

If you cannot choose wisely that which product will give you more revenue and you yourself jump into loss making production then fault is at your end.

I agree with both of your pictures and wants to move towards solution as well but encouragement of a product for which production cost is already more then international market cost is completely illogical. Instead farmers should think about which crop can have low production cost then international market selling price so even if there are surplus production in country, government can export that crop.

Currently farmers want full independent on production and then MSP support from government which is fully illogical.

Ye tp wahi baat ho gayi ki mera man me jaha chaahu apna paisa lgaau aur agar revenue nahi mile to railway track par baith ke Sarkar se support maangu.

Apni marzi se sabhi ne aalu bo diye ab production surplus ho gaya aur production ki cost international market ki selling price se zyada thi issiliye koi bhi country India se khareedne ko taiyar nahi thi.

MSP for wheat n India is around 2200 but same can be imported from Russia at just 1800. Can't the government provide amenities to farmers so that the production and cost be par to Russia . We can produce in 1500 too but government participation is negligible. Apart from publishing picture of modi ji I couldn't find any participation.

, true you can not compare with a country with 15 crores and 140 crores. Also in Russia 6% population is only involved in agriculture where as in India it is at least 50%. If you enhance these 50% then GDP will boom but not forcefully pushing the policies.

If you do little analysis hen you can get to know where government should put its ideas to enhance not to deteriorate farmers conditions.

Shop keeper losses are insured but hardy any marginalized farmer can afford or aware about crop insurance.
