Sidewalk on one side is only partially built as seen in the pic. Another reason for leaving it at this might be they can reject new train proposals citing pitline constraints. This pic was shot and uploaded on Facebook by Shri Uday Krishna.

Yeah, not much trains originates or terminates being a termini hardly 12 trains including passenger trains. But freight movement is very much in this corridor since VSG is well connected to harbour link of Mormugao Port Trust, Iron Ore and Coal is heavily transported hence the freight revenue for Hubbali Divison. BTW, here are some pics (29/02/2024) of both the Pitlines, 2nd one is almost complete but not commissioned.

Well, I disagree. I knew someday or the other they would've punched the AC coaches down and it happened as well. The suddenness with which they dropped SL coaches was too much to expect for so called change leaving out general public also some people I know personally wanted to travel in sleeper just because it got waitlisted they were compelled to take 3AC seats or 3E seats, it doesn't mean that affordability is the issue but comparing it with earlier itself (ICF) is the good idea to start with. Also, less sleeper coaches means other sleeper waitlisted passengers entering into...

The Goa Express was captured at Gwalior. I didn't capture any more images at night because my smartphone basically sucks at night light photography and I didn't wish to use the flash.Datia is a station on GWL-JHS route. GWL-BJU stops there but hardly few folks deboarded there. Barely got an image before the train gave the honk.

Uske liye pehle inko pitline toh commission karne do VSG pe 22 LHB ke PM ke liye. Their RTI early this year said it's commissioned but this pic of mine on 15 June 2023 you can clearly see on the other end of the 2nd pitline there is no sidewalk constructed.
