There is no clue as such regarding downgradation of berth under ATAS as of now.
Since IRCTC is treating the ATAS passenger as a normal passenger of New train, hence upgradation is possible. Normal upgradation funda will work here...

Bro can u plzz confirm whether its getting a tech halt at GAYA or not.......
Class will be same.
if ur original tkt is 3A, You will given accommodation in 3A in other trains if avl. else not.

becoz 7-8 days ago my uncle travelled in it and he told that it stopped at GAYA, also SDAH DRM confirmed that it has got a tech halt at GAYA. And BTW MGS is a tech halt in dn direction as per railways official website
