Thanks. So crossing does happen in Shiradi Ghat for passengers. That's great!!! Which means, if they want, they can run more trains with crossing at the ghat. Only that agreement is the hurdle and of course the willingness to run more trains.

This crossing happened at Shiribagilu. We waited a good 40 mins for the train to cross over.

Arrived on PF 2. Waiting for Hassanamba exp expected to arrive in 5 mins. Waiting for it.

40 mins is too long... so that means..very less loop lines on Ghats...any idea how many loops in between Subramanya road and Hassan?

If my memory serves me well, except HMB, all stations between SBHR and HAS had loop lines.
