Get the photocopy of the ticket attested by a gazetted officer. Attach both the id proofs of the passenger de-boarding earlier attested too!!
While in the train, get the attested photocopy signed and verified by the TTE and tell him to mention that the passengers shall deboard at VPT (Get it signed by him)

There is a provision of issuing split tickets by the TTEs. However, it is not in practice at large and since TTEs do not get anything out of this issue, they do not entertain such requests.

Sir,
Do you really expect a photocopy of a ticket to play a role of gate pass to exit from a station?
Thanks!

Sir, once i did the same , i took the photocopy of the ticket and asked the TTE to sign in that also , but the TTE said there is no rule like this to produce a photocopy and it is not allowed to.
since the ticket is PRS ticket , is there any other solution.

Yes Sir. It can serve the purpose. Some of my colleagues used to get down at Tirupur, with a copy of ticket to Coimbatore. When a person can prove genuinely that he has got down from the train just arrived on the platform there will not be any problem.

Dear All
here under i m giving one example. This rule is widely needed by many passengers and mostly not published. so it is unknown.
if there are 6 passengers travelling from from station A to station C in a single reservation PNR. Now out of these 6 passengers, 2 wants to get down at station B. If it is e ticket than they can take another print out and getdown at station B and exit from station by showing there e ticket along with their ID card, but if it is PRS

ticket than most of people take Xerox of their tkt to exit from station B. when TC check at exit point and doesnot accept this tkt as valid tkt arguing passenger might have cancel original ticket after taking xerox. TC may ask a handsome amount as penalty. and this where passenger feel embarrassed.
In this type of situation there is a rule that Passenger can approach TTE in train and ask for Division of his ticket. Passenger have to surrender his original Ticket to TTE. TTE after collecting original Ticket, issue two separate EFT (EXCESS FARE TICKET, Paper ticket which they issue as receipt of collecting money). This service is FREE as he is issueing such tickets in lieu of that PRS ticket in which passenger had already paid fare for station A to station C.

Jain Jinendra, Sir!
Thanks for allowing others to know the rule.
This requirement of rules and faqs is quite old and in due course it is to be implemented.
However, what rule you have given is in general not implemented by the TTEs as they do not get any thing in lieu of their labour.

give you an instance recently took place.
One of my office staff had booked a W/L ticket from counter of himself and a companion.
Since, it did not get confirmed but remained in RAC, the companion did not travel.
My staff demanded No-Journey certificate from the TTE who asked him to wait. At 01:00 in the night, he cam back and asked whether he wanted full seat or certificate? if full seat, he will not issue certificate or if certificate is required, he will give him only half of the berth and on the remaining half, will set somebody else (we all know the rule that if an RAC passenger does not report, the remaining passenger gets confirmed on the same seat and other rule is that, in running train, no RAC is allotted).
And ultimately, the required certificate was not issued and hence, no refund.

Yes SKJ sir.
I can say T-TENSION, T-TROUBLE, E-ENHANCER. These guys are appointed for just simply to make tick on chart.
One passenger holding 2AC ticket provided accommodation in 3AC. but TTE had not given lower class certificate by saying he had not done this. This is done by system so he can't issue.
