Dadar is the best changeover point from WR to CR and vice-versa.
For trains terminating at BDTS, if a person has to board a train from CR, then
(A) De-board at Borivili
(B) Take local to Dadar
(C)...
more... Board the long-distance CR train at Dadar, or,
take north-bound local to proceed to Thane or Kalyan, for trains originating from LTT, or
take south-bound local to proceed to CST for trains having no stoppage at Dadar/Thane/Kalyan..
Similarly, for changeover from CR to WR, Dadar is the best.(take case of 16530/19005).
For trains terminating at LTT, deboard at Kalyan/Thane, take south-bound local for Dadar, if trains originate/ have stoppage at Dadar(WR).
For trains originating from BCT, deboard at Masjid Station, and take Taxi for BCT(BCT-NDLS Rajdhani)
For trains originating at BDTS, two solutions are there:-
(A) From DADAR, board north-bound locals on WR line to BVI, if trains have stoppage at BVI.
(B) Other case would be, from Thane/Kalyan, board, south-bound local on CR line and de-board at Kurla. From Kurla, taxis, would be cheaper. Other economical option would be boarding BEST buses from Kurla to BDTS, the added advantage is that buses from Kurla to BDTS are Double-decker buses. These buses are very frequent, originate from Kurla and take BKC route, and travel time 30 minutes or so...
Hope it helps passengers...
