Which classes are open for such concession?  There is separate form which you will get and to be filled from the school and get it signed and school seal from the Principal. Then go to the PRS counter and submit the form while booking the ticket. To avail the Sc/st concession , you must submit a copy of your caste certificate from concerned authorities. Thanks Its a proforma, which u get from college (on request through form), which u have to fill & get stamp & seal from college/institution. The Clerk keeps one part (which he tears off), while the other u have to keep, while travelling!! well the forms are always on short supply.As against the normal 6-named ticket, you can atmost group urself into a member of 4. secondly, railways provide these forms to a particular institute(generally) to avail concession for students travelling in their semester holidays only....(as told by u already)..and the procedure is same... third, this concession is NOT VALID for E-tickets. fourth- if... more... contd.. u can even bok tickets in advance and avail concessions later!! Prashant you just book the tickets later after filling in the required forms , go to the prs counter , he will cancel your earlier ticket(not reservation) and will issue a new ticket withh the concession amount.
