How has it evolved in the past year? The Living Atlas has now been integrated with the official train database. The true "exact routes" of all trains can now be seen in the various maps - not just simple lines connecting the halts. So, for instance, the exact route followed by Duronto trains can be seen, as well as all intermediate stations - not just technical halts. (The technical halt timings will soon be integrated as well). Also, the independently calculated actual km can now be seen for all intermediate stations. So if you examine the DEE-YPR Duronto, the official kms is 2314 km, whereas the independently calculated km comes around to 2369 km. This means that the official km is based on the shorter Kacheguda route, and has not been changed for the longer Wadi route. Either that, or the route shown here is not correct and should be changed to the shorter Kacheguda route. Both scenarios give... more... Soon you will be able to add multiple routes to create a single route. i.e.... more...
