The passenger should take another ticket from Mysore to Bangalore .Since he changed the boarding point for having confirmed ticket ,SR booked another person from Mysore to Bangalore.
So TTE demands fares from Mysore to Bangalore with fine is correct as per the IR rules and regulation ,the passenger are considered as without ticket.
Booking clerk should be explained the fact of the boarding point change in shortly to the passenger.

no violation or harassment here. TTE followed rules regarding the receipt part a duplicate should be there with TTE/Booking office to rest their case.
completely agree with you. passengers should know the rules before making pointless claims
TTE is right.Ignorance is not an excuse. However i felt sorry as the passengers were Sr. Citizens
