Once i was also about to this type of accident, I was onboard Mewar Express from Mathura to NZM, i was sitting on door for railfanning but due to cld morning air and MPS, i got a small sleep and at same time train skipped Asaoti station, luckily there was sufficient PF gap so i remain safe.

i think he was in mahangri and fell down while capturing his fav train. he was door plating.
i know many who gave up doorplating totally after this tragedy
very sad thing that rf lost life while capturing fav train ..
