This means that one can book Delhi Mumbai rajdhani from Karnal as boarding station? By paying extra fare of same class?
Great news man! This will surely benefit a lot of people facing boarding station problems.
This will definitely tell which station actually have demand to go other stations...
It is high time for IR to drop sub-quota system and allow booking from a generalised set of quota available for any station on the route, drop all kinds of concessions, various special quotas, (FT, DF, LD, SS, etc, etc.) Introduce B/J on online tickets, and issue telescopic tickets. Sure, there is lots of room for improvements for IRCTC, especially with the feedback given from our IRI members!
