Very good news. This elevated corridor is vey badly needed by several lacs of Mumbaikars who need to do daily commuting over the route. Beauty of this project:

give comfort from notorious sticky sweating which pinches a lot in extreme crowd of Mumbai esp in summer months.
(4) It will promote development of Navi Mumbai as a counter magnet to severely overcrowded Mumbai.
(5)Being elevated track, there is no question of water logging on the tracks and consequent stoppage of trains services which a nightmare for Mumbaikars
One thing I wish more should be there, is provision of non-ac coaches also, so that common public is also benefited and good occupancy is ensured on the trains on the new route (after completion of construction) right from the inception.
