A number of RMs from eastern India in last 25 years introduced exceptionally large number of trains from their home town/state resulting in exceptional overburdening of DLI-Mughalsarai stretch. Meagre funds available were splurged on new lines (mostly loss making), GC etc instead of augmenting the saturated trunk route (profit giving) and the end result is before us, i.e. unusual delays and accidents.
